OUR STORY

At The Little Leaf Company, our mission is to feed our community with fresh, delicious & nutritious food all year round. Filling bellies while helping to improve your HEALTH & WELLNESS one bite at a time!

Our company was born from a desire to live as healthy as possible and we believe this all begins with the food and water we feed our bodies with. Sadly, most of what we call food today, isn't food at all. Grown in dead soil pumped with chemical fertilizers, sprayed with pesticides and more fertilizers, picked too early and then packaged/shipped across the world. By the time it gets to our fridge its already lost most of what was in it for nutrition. We are getting fewer and fewer essential vitamins and minerals from our food which we believe is what causes most of the illness/disease we see today.

We started eliminating the "bad foods" and added more healthy, living foods in 2016. We noticed many improvements in our wellbeing, skin, hair and issues we had seemed to go away. We continued to research and make improvements to find the right balance. Sprouting & growing microgreens along with fermenting foods seemed to be the most beneficial to us.

When the events of 2020 began unfolding we quickly realized the need for local, sustainable and most importantly, nutritious food provided to the community, by the community.

We joined the Farmers' Market to offer our product and...

- thus, The Little Leaf Company was born.

Microgreens are so versatile, packed full of vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber - you can put them in or on anything, improving the texture, flavor and nutrition of any meal.

We sow/harvest our microgreens fresh weekly for maximum nutrition and freshness. Ready to be tossed into a salad, on top of eggs or omelet's, sandwiches or just thrown into a smoothie.

A little goes a long way and keep fresh for 2 weeks.
